National Standard of the People's Republic of China HJ637-2012 Determination of Water Quality - Petroleum and Animal and Vegetable Oils - Infrared Spectroscopy Method.
Technical principle:
According to the HJ637-2012 (GB/T16488-1996) standard, oil substances in water (or gas, solid) are extracted with carbon tetrachloride, and the total extract is determined. Then, the extract is adsorbed with magnesium silicate, and after removing polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils, petroleum substances are determined. The total extract and petroleum content were calculated based on the absorbance A2930, A2960, and A3030 at spectral numbers 2930 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group), and 3030 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in aromatic ring), respectively. The content of animal and vegetable oils is calculated based on the difference between the total extract and petroleum content.

Small measurement error for different ratios: Simulate the oil composition in water and measure the error of any component standard oil, which is less than 5%, making the instrument truly serve the actual water sample.
There is a dedicated menu for measuring catering oil fume, which measures the concentration of cooking oil fume emissions in accordance with the national standard for cooking oil fume emissions (GB18483-2001).
Easy to operate: Chinese menu operation, equipped with a large LCD display, no need for sample calibration, measurement results can be printed out.
It can be used independently without a computer or connected to a computer for operation, and the wave number can be freely compensated and located.
